Baosteel starts testing Zhanjiang BOF
China’s Baosteel has begun testing of its steelmaking plant at the Zhanjiang greenfield steelworks in the southern Guangdong province. This puts the plant on track to begin producing slab in the fourth quarter of 2015, Kallanish notes.
