Baosteel sees profits slightly up, sales slightly down in 2014
Eastern China’s Baosteel expects net profit to increase 0.08% to Yuan 5.82 billion ($950 million) in 2014, it has told the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Elsewhere however the news is not so positive.
Other key financial indicators were likely down year-on-year, Baosteel says. Operating profit was down 0.68% from 2013 at Yuan 7.63bn on the back of a 0.84% slide in revenues to Yuan 188.43bn.
