Baosteel relights revamped BF No. 4
Eastern China’s Baosteel has relit its revamped No. 4 blast furnace after 72 days of maintenance and re-lining. The shutdown resulted in around 700,000 tonnes of lost hot metal output but Baosteel still expects to keep its annual crude steel production level year-on-year at around 22 million tonnes, it says.
