Baosteel profit slips slightly and targets modest sales rise for 2015
Eastern China’s Baosteel saw profits fall in 2014 and it expects 2015 to be another difficult year for the steel industry, according to its latest annual report. Despite declining steel prices and falling steel demand, the company is pressing ahead with its greenfield coastal steelworks plan in southern China, Kallanish notes.
