China corruption probe investigates Baosteel exec.
A senior Baosteel executive is under investigation for suspected “serious disciplinary violations”, authorities say. The Chinese Communist Party’s anti-corruption watchdog, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), visited the company in March. The commission has said it also intends to visit Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wugang) and China Minmetals this year, Kallanish notes.
