Baosteel cuts prices as Premier Li Keqiang signals no stimulus
Baosteel cut its October steel prices, and steel and iron ore prices remained weak on Thursday as market sentiment in China remained bleak. Adding to the mood were Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang’s comments at the Davos forum in Tianjin, which made clear that what China’s leaders think is best for the economy, is not so great for steel prices.
