BHP's first-calendar-half iron ore output declines

BHP Billiton has reported iron ore production of 71.13 million tonnes (100% basis) in the fourth fiscal quarter ended 30 June, down -1% year-on-year but up 12% from the previous quarter. This meant the company’s iron ore output in the first half of calendar-year 2019 was 135mt, down -3% y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
