BDI shrinks after recent hike
The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) has surged over the last month, as Capesize vessels were in high demand for shipping iron ore to China. Although the index has fallen slightly in recent days, it could remain at current levels in the short term as iron ore shipments increase, Kallanish notes.
