BC Iron targets reductions in C1 and all-in costs
Yet another junior iron ore miner is feeling the pinch. Australia’s BC Iron Limited says that it has implemented a raft of measures to support its target of lowering both C1 and all-in cash costs.
The company’s main project is the Nullagine Joint Venture (NJV) in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The NJV is an unincorporated 75:25 joint venture with Fortescue Metals Group Limited, which commenced exports in February 2011.
