Metinvests Avdiivka resumes coke output after shelling
Metinvest’s Avdiivka Coke Plant has completed the main part of reconstruction work folllwing shelling on 4 August. The company has returned to its earlier production targets, Kallanish learns.
The plant currently produces 6,900 tonnes/day of bulk coke. Seven coke oven batteries are working, while one is under repair.
Rail links have also been repaired, meaning Avdiivka can receive raw materials and export finished products.
