Automotive sector demand drives Bekaert's first quarter sales increase
Belgian steel wire specialist Bekaert expects demand for its products to be driven by the automotive industry, the company says in its first quarter 2015 operating results, monitored by Kallanish. It expects demand to remain strong in EMEA and Asia although the company does expect however continued price pressure from highly competitive tyre cord markets in China.
