Australian iron ore ports reopen after cyclone
The Australian iron ore terminals at Port Hedland and Dampier both reopened at 5am local time on 20 January after a cyclone warning had forced them to close briefly on Monday, authorities have confirmed. The ports can ship around 2 million tonnes/day of ore between them but the closure was too short to seriously impact supply, Kallanish notes.
