Arch Coal sees lowest shipment level in five plus years
Arch Coal says its operations are doing a good job at managing costs while it navigates a challenging market, with the company experiencing its lowest shipment level in more than five years.
“Arch continues to weather the significant market challenges facing the industry”, ceo John Eaves says in a quarterly earnings release sent to Kallanish. It expects US coal production to fall by over 90 million tons in 2015 compared to 2014.
