ArcelorMittal Algeria to revamp blast furnace
Algeria-based ArcelorMittal Annaba (AMA)’s blast furnace will be stopped at the end of August for its reline, and re-activated in the first quarter of 2016, the firm tells Kallanish. The halt follows an extensive revamp project aimed at increasing the mill’s production capacity to 2.2 million tonnes/year, the company explains.
