ArcelorMittal supplies rail for the Madrid-Galicia high speed railway
ArcelorMittal will supply 8,900 tonnes of rails for the construction of a segment of the high speed railway line Madrid-Galicia, Kallanish learns from Adif, the state-owned company that manages most of Spain's railway. The steelmaker will provide the 90 metre-long rails required for the project from its plant in Gijon, Spain, Adif says.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, and will connect the towns of Zamora and Pedralba…
