ArcelorMittal ramps up Barmesa auto service centre in Morocco
ArcelorMittal’s minority-owned steel service centre, Bamesa Tanger in Tangier, Morocco has marked its first year of operations. In that time, the 40:60 joint venture between ArcelorMittal and the Spanish-based service centre group, Bamesa says it has delivered 50,000 tonnes of automotive steel to Renault Tanger’s local tier-1 subcontractors. It adds that it has processed another 2,000t for Renault Tanger, in a statement seen by Kallanish.
