ArcelorMittal formalises its intent for Italy's Ilva: reports
ArcelorMittal has reportedly formalised its interest in Italian steelmaker Ilva when it sent a non-binding letter of intent to Ilva’s special commissioner, Piero Gnudi last week. This is a signal that ArcelorMittal’s visits to Ilva’s Taranto steelworks in June and July were positive, reports Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
