Wikinger project looks to use Spanish plate : sources
ArcelorMittal's plant in Gijon, Spain could be the main supplier of the 23,000 tonnes of steel plates required for the Wikinger Project, an offshore wind farm being developed In the Baltic.
The onshore and offshore manufacturing division of Daniel Alonso group, Windar Renovables, and Spain’s state-owned shipbuilder Navantia, are currently discussing steel plate prices with the Luxembourg-based steelmaker, industry sources reveal to Kallanish.
