ArcelorMittal and Marcegaglia's joint interest in Riva confirmed
Italy’s minister of economic development Federica Guidi has met with Aditya Mittal, ceo of ArcelorMittal Europe, and leaders of Marcegaglia to discuss the future of Ilva in Taranto. The top level meeting was held on 23 September, according to a ministry statement, with further meetings expected over the coming weeks.
Kallanish understands that both ArcelorMittal and Marcegaglia are considering co-operating on a joint solution for the Italian mill.
