ArcelorMittal South Africa reduces output 6% to clear inventory
ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) plans to reduce its second-quarter steel output by 6% over Q1 to 4,300 tonnes/day in order to reduce steel inventory. Shipments are expected to be lower due to reduced export allocation and the Chinese-driven global steel supply glut.
