Annaba relaunches No 1 BF
ArcelorMittal’s Annaba steel plant is in the process of ramping up its No 1 blast furnace (BF), which it finally relit late last month. The furnace is understood to be producing at a daily rate of 1,500 tonnes, according to Annaba’s spokesperson, talking to Algerian newspaper, El Moudjahid.
