American Midstream launches open season for Bakken gathering system
American Midstream Partners is conducting a binding open season for a proposed roughly 50-mile crude oil gathering/transportation system in McKenzie County, North Dakota, in the core of the Bakken oil play.
The gathering system will transport up to 40,000 barrels per day (BPD) of crude for delivery to intrastate and interstate pipeline systems. The proposed line would begin flowing product in June 2015.
