Algeria's construction steel imports dip in 2014
The Algerian National Statistics and Data Processing Centre (CNIS) reports that imports of construction materials totalled $3.65 billion in 2014 of which $1.84 billion were steel products, Kallanish notes.
According to information provided by CNIS, iron and steel imports still represent 57.56% of construction materials imports in spite of a -4.5% decline from the figure of $1.92 billion recorded in 2013
