Abu Dhabi rebar mill restarts under new owner after five-year hiatus
Abu-Dhabi based rebar mill Union Iron & Steel (UIS) has resumed production under new owner UrbaCon Trading & Contracting (UCC), five years after it was idled following the collapse of the United Arab Emirates’ steel market in 2009, a UCC source tells Kallanish.
