Abu Dhabi rebar mill could supply new Doha project
Abu Dhabi-based rebar mill Union Iron & Steel (UIS) is prepared to supply product to its owner UrbaCon Trading & Contracting (UCC) for a large new project in Qatar, a UIS official tells Kallanish. Qatari building contractor UCC won the QAR 1.69 billion ($466m) contract to develop the Ras Bufontas area in Doha in partnership with Spanish construction firm Sacyr.
