AM Castle set to close facility in Illinois
US distributor AM Castle is closing its Castle Metals facility in Franklin Park, Illinois, Kallanish understands.
The permanent closing will affect 146 workers, including members of the United Steelworkers (USW) Local 7773. Layoffs will begin at the end of June and continue through the end of the year, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filing with the state of Illinois.
