Global automotive output drops despite higher truck output

Global automotive output fell 16% on-year in 2020 to 77,621,581 units, says French carmakers association Organisation Internationale Des Constructeurs Automobiles (OICA). EU28 automotive output excluding heavy vehicles fell 23.4% to 13,771,637 units. France produced 1,316,371 vehicles, of which 927,718 were passenger cars and 388,653 commercial vehicles.
