French output tumbles in 2020 despite December surge
French crude steel production rebounded year-on-year in December 2020 after declining sharply in previous months, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA).
Crude steel output increased by 25.7% in December to 1,155,000 tonnes. This is up from 919,000t in December 2019, the association says.
