Italian crude steel output falls in 2019
Crude steel production by Italian mills fell in 2019, as predicted by local steelmakers' association Federacciai.
In 2019 crude steel output fell by -5.2% on-year to 23.2 million tonnes. In December alone crude steel production decreased by as much as -17.3% on-year to 1.4mt, the association confirms in a note seen by Kallanish.
