French steel output falls in 2019

French crude steel production decreased year-on-year in 2019 and tumbled in December following a fall in October and November, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA). In 2019, output dipped by -6.1% on-year to 1.204,000 tonnes/month. This was down from 1,282,000 t/month in 2018. Output also fell by as much as -18% to 919,000/ tonnes in December, down from 1.1 million tonnes in December 2018…
