Shagang's 2017 exports slide on strong domestic market
Shagang’s steel export volumes shrank by around -29% year-on-year to an estimated 4.15 million tonnes last year, the company says. Increasing trade conflicts were part of the reason but the stronger domestic market is the key to the phenomenon, Kallanish notes.
