Global steel output declines for first time in six years
World crude steel production declined -2.8% on-year in 2015 to 1.62 billion tonnes, with output cuts recorded in all regions except Oceania, Kallanish learns from the World Steel Association. This represents the first reduction in global steel output since 2009.
