2015 opens with year-on-year hike in US crude steel production
US crude steel weekly production and capability utilisation rose year-on-year in the week-ending 3 January 2015, the latest figures released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) show. This was the first full week of the 2015 production calendar, Kallanish notes.
