AISI: 2014 US production, shipments, imports grow year-on-year
The American Iron and Steel Institute’s (AISI) annual statistical report shows that America’s 2014 steel production, shipments and imports all increased over 2013.
The report reveals that imports took a record 28% share of apparent steel supply, with both total and finished steel imports rising to near-record levels.
