One in ten Chinese steelmakers violate environmental standards
According to China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), over 10% of steelmakers have been found violating environemental standards in inspections this year up to 11 September. More strict and frequent investigations are set for the steel industry in the near future, Kallanish notes.
