Mechel's 100m-long rails go for certification
Russia’s Mechel has begun certifying its 100-metre long rails, after the rails “passed preliminary testing on all points, and are fully up to Russian Railways demands”, the company says. The announcement comes a year after the initial launch of Mechel’s new rail and structural steel mill in Chelyabinsk, Kallanish understands.
