ZeroAvia, MONTE to market 100 aircraft hydrogen-electric powertrains together
UK’s zero-emission aviation start-up ZeroAvia said Wednesday it will market and lease 100 of its ZA600 powertrains through a partnership with MONTE, Kallanish reports.
The companies are promising flexibility to regional flight operators, which will be able to convert new and existing 5-20 seat aircraft into zero-emission from 2024. The turboprop aircraft covered in the deal are Cessna Caravan, DHC-6 Twin Otter, Dornier 228 and HAL-228.
