Woodside Energy buys Texas blue ammonia project for $2.3 billion
Australian oil and gas company Woodside Energy said Monday it will buy a blue ammonia project from Dutch chemicals group OCI Global for $2.3 billion.
Located in Beaumont, Texas, the complex is under construction and will start producing ammonia from natural gas next year, adding carbon capture technology in 2026.
