Wind-solar-battery complex in Oregon begins commercial operation
Commercial power generation and storage is under way at Portland General Electric’s Wheatridge Renewable Energy facility in eastern Oregon, Kallanish reports.
The large-scale complex, one of the first of its kind in the United States, combines wind, solar and battery storage with a 300 megawatt wind farm, a 50 MW solar facility and a 30 MW battery storage facility.
