Westport, Volvo partner on H2 internal combustion engine
Westport Fuel Systems and Volvo Group have signed an investment agreement to establish a joint venture to reduce CO2 emissions from long-haul transport, the companies said Monday.
The JV, first announced last July, aims to accelerate the adoption of Westport’s high-pressure direct injection (HPDI) fuelling systems for long-haul trucking and off-road applications, Kallanish notes.
