Western Australia to speed up mining approvals
Western Australia says it is working to support the state’s mining industry by expediting approvals, streamlining the approvals process and providing incentives to explorers.
The state government has reduced wait times for program of work (POW) applications by more than 50%, it says in a statement seen by Kallanish. Companies require a POW before they can begin exploration activities.
