VinFast delays US production start to 2028
Vietnamese carmaker VinFast has postponed the launch of its new US plant to 2028 amid a slowdown in electric vehicle demand, Kallanish reports.
The company also posted a 26% year-on-year increase in second-quarter sales to 12,058 vehicles. The performance brings total half-year sales to 21,747 vehicles, a 92% jump compared to the same period in 2023.
