Vehicle-to-grid school bus program touts success in NY
Montreal’s Lion Electric Company says its vehicle-to-grid (V2G) pilot program for school buses in White Plains, New York, has been successfully tested, Kallanish reports.
The project is a partnership between Lion, Nuvve, White Plains School District and National Express. It’s the first time in the state of New York that electric school buses have successfully transferred unused power back to the electric grid at-large.
