H2 begins work on California VRFB storage project
South Korea’s H2 Inc is launching a 20 megawatt-hour vanadium redox flow battery storage project in northern California, Kallanish reports.
The project, with 5 megawatts rated power, is expected to be the largest VRFB built and operating in the US when the project is completed. Currently, the largest installations in the US are 8 MWh systems in southern California and Washington state.
