US recharges low-emission transit sector with $182m
The US Department of Transportation has awarded several jurisdictions some of its previously announced low-to-no emission bus funds, Kallanish reports.
The $182 million program will support 49 projects in 46 states to “contribute to the Biden-Harris administration’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by the end of the decade,” according to a department release.
