US’ Ravn Alaska plans to retrofit aircraft fleet with ZeroAvia powertrains
US regional airline Ravn Alaska intends to retrofit 30 of its existing aircraft with ZeroAvia’s hydrogen-electric propulsion powertrains, Kallanish reports.
The companies signed an MOU for the delivery of 30 ZeroAvia’s ZA2000 powertrains to convert Ravn’s De Havilland Dash-8 fleet. Ravn currently operates Q100 and Q300 aircraft on routes serving rural communities in Alaska.
