US commits $50m for SMEs in EV supply chain
The US Department of Energy on Thursday committed $50 million to help small- and medium-sized suppliers adapt manufacturing facilities for the EV supply chain.
The funding is part of the $2 billion Domestic Automotive Manufacturing Conversion Grant programme, which is funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). It will directed to six states – Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois – based on the requirement that 0.5% of their work…
