RARE EARTH: US boosts REE concentrate production by 10,000 t in 2020: USGS
The United States increased its domestic production of rare earth element (REE) concentrates by 10,000 tonnes in 2020, according to the US Geological Survey.
That total grew to 38,000 t, making the US the No. 2 producer of REE outside of China for the second consecutive year, Kallanish reports. That total grew from 28,000 t in 2019 and 14,000 t in 2018.
