UL Solutions signs MOU on EV battery safety
UL Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with an affiliate of Hyundai Mobis for a partnership focused on EV battery safety and performance.
Under the agreement, UL Solutions and Hyundai Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain will evaluate the performance of EV batteries, including their reliability, overall performance and safety parameters. The companies will also confirm the batteries’ regulatory compliance, Kallanish reports.
