UK’s GRID secures £180m debt facility to expand ESS portfolio
UK-based Gresham House Energy Storage Fund, also known as GRID, announced on Monday it has secured a £180 million ($245.68m) debt facility with a syndicate of banks.
The five-year deal was enabled by banks including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Lloyds Bank, NatWest and Santander. The facility will enable the UK’s largest fund investing in grid-scale battery energy storage systems to boost deployment.
